Evangelist R. A. Torrey was a prolific author and a great lover of hymns, but he wrote only one hymn text in his life.  Sadly, his song has been neglected because the original tune put to them was rather difficult to sing.  I've composed a new tune to do more justice to Torrey's excellent grasp the reasons for worship.  This song has proven popular with churches and congregations.  (It appears on my new CD Through the Valley.)  Lyrics are given below:

Oh, my soul bless thou Jehovah, God of love and grace art thou,

Thou alone art wise and holy; At thy feet I humbly bow.
